Skies turn red
It's judgement day
Is it all true
Just what you say?

That if i can't
Go on with life
You'll loosen my grip
Upon the knife

She says she hurts
Violet falls down her cheeks
Tears of jealousy
Slide down in streaks

Well here i am
Standing at your door
Amazing i can stand
With emotions i bore

I feel weak
Collapse about your feet
Buried underneath
The weight of her deceit

Now i ask you to stay
Hold me tight
So i can forget
The ending of that night

    I have read some of your other stuff...and I just want to say, you are an outstanding poet. And I know this is a bit sexist, but I haven't really read a lot of poems by guys that I like. Not because they're guys, but I can't relate a whole lot. But, your poems just jump out at me. I don't know what it is, but I really like it all!
