Lighted Night

My darkest nights and deepest fears
Growing larger over the years
My worst moments, and my least favorite times
all come together as I write my rhymes

Sleepless moments, and lonely life
Everyday working with strife
Stupid choices and bad parenting
Beginning and ending a life with a sting

Then comes along a light so bright
I walk towards it without a fight
It draws me in and holds me close
It understands me like no one knows

Beauty, temptation, and worlds begin
I now live a life without any sin
