My Heart Was Trapped, But Then You Set It Free

by RadianceInReverse   Mar 2, 2006

Trapped in my own little world
with no way out, cagged
looking through the steel bars
locked within my own heart
pain held in trying to force its way free,
this intense pressure is killing me

But then you set me free
I was trapped
and only you held the key
my heart now empty of all distress
I have found my place of rest

resting on your strong broad shoulder
your my steadfast boulder
you make me who I am today
and I love you with every piece of my being

Thank You Babe for letting all my emotions run free

This poem is about a really good friend of mine...he means the world to me...
