Come, sit right next to me as i tell you a story
this is about a boy turning man
and his journey from tears to glory

while he met his first love, he was sixteen
that was the first time he touched sky
and he did it without stopping in between

roses, rainbows, starry nights and blue skies
he went through all those things movie shows
and he realized honesty of life hides behind lies

as what usually happens, his heart shattered in the end
somehow he survived but wondering why and how?
trading heart love and emotions has become a trend

so he started to live in his own little world
working his ribs off to stay out of fantasies
but he forgot that he has a heart and its meant to hurt

fake smiles and screaming breaths, coundn't make him strong
nailing all his desires and fighting against his will
questioning mirror if it knows why in his life everything went so wrong

craving inside his flesh for someone to love him
someone who could respect him for what he his
and relight the day which were turning so dim

entering late twenties, feeling in middle of nowhere
fortunately met someone, one fine day
and that face just followed him everywhere

roses, rainbows, starry nights and blue skies
he again went through all those things movie shows
and realized there is a smile waiting beyond his cries

new life, new heart, new soul, new smile
everything happens for some reason
and now every pain seems worthwhile

come, sit right next to me as i share this reality
this is about a boy and a wonder girl
this is about none other than you and me
