You were my first

by mer   Mar 2, 2006

You were my first,
My first desire, temptation,
and my first love

You captured my heart,
Cupid shot and pierced my heart, overtaken with dreams that you would someday be mine

You gently lifted me out of the flood i had drown myself in,
The forcefield you unknowingly enslaved me in,
Only gave more of my soul to you.

A million tears passed,
with a burdened heart, sorrowful to the point of death,
Guilt pressing my very existence

Why are you so perfect?
Kill me now,
So i feel no more pain nor regret
Give me back a reason to live,
to love, and to let go,

You were my first
