Most people sit there in tears
Just sitting there with all those fears
But there was one girl who was different from the rest
And she was not necessarily the best
You see, God took her brother away
He joined the angels today
Of course she was sad
But she was not at all mad
He played the best trumpet in band
But still she knew God had a plan
She knew God will take care of him
Even when night came and it got dim
She misses her brother with all her heart
Knowing no one could ever take the part
But God has a plan, she knew
He always knows just what to do
She knew she would talk to him again
Just like it had been
She will see him at heaven’s gate
When death comes with our fate
So from now on she tries to put on a smile
Even if it is only for a little while
She will see her brother again she knew
Although it may not be that soon
