One last scream

*please tell me what you think about it cuz this is my first dark poem ;) i can melt a heart wit a poem , i could make someone cry with a poem let's see if i can make someone afraid with a poem ;)

She lay in bed deep asleep
Having a nightmare and just about to awake
When suddenly she hears a cry, so deep
She opened her eyes and started to shake

Surrounded by darkness
She hoped that it was all a dream
She tried to stay calm, that's the essence
When she was about to lay down again she heard that horrible scream

She jumped up and locked the door,
Found something to protect her and went back in the bed
Her body shaking harder then before
Not knowing what to do she prayed

Mysteriously the temperature started cooling
And for the third time she heard that freighting noise
She lost control of her mind and started panicking
She kept telling to her self "It's nothing ," with a scared voice

Thinking she's not safe she barricaded the door
She sat in her bed whole night long
When suddenly the sun rose, she dropped on her knees on the floor
Thanking god, as the sunlight felt like the angels were singing a song

She laughed from happiness:
"It was just a dream, it was just a dream"
She un-barricaded the door feeling harmless
The door slowly opened and you could hear just one more scream...
