Give me a pen,
And I will create a
Masterpiece.
Surrender your
Thoughts,
And I will give them
Worth.

Give me some
Paper,
And I'll decorate it with
Contradictions.
I'll put you outside your
Box,
And make you reconsider all you've ever
Known.

Give me some
Time,
And I'll make it worth your
While.
I'll revive your
Soul
And leave you wanting
More.

Give me some
Words,
And I'll defy all
Conventions,
Making them more
Elegant
Than before.

Give me an
Emotion,
And I will expose its every
Trick
And grant it
Significance.
I will uncover its
Purpose
And the answer to its
Existence.

Give me a reader,
And I will drown them in
Ideas
And make their eyes dance to every
Stanza.
I will offer
Inspiration
And instill
Wonder.

I will be a poet.
