Gray Happiness

by Beatriz Zamora   Mar 3, 2006

The life that awaits, tears of happiness will kiss my face,
Flowers will course my hair,
The man that I care about will finally be there.
Suddenly everything turns gray,
long gone is that happy day, Tears of grief taint my cheeks,
knots of sorrow is all that my hair keeps,
Happiness just isn't for me.
