Death:

by Eli   Mar 3, 2006

The end of the strife for life
A break away from the physical day
Realizing the true value of life and death, right before your last breath
I am now in the chamber of G-d, and see that I am free
Please listen to me, and forgive thee
I stand here before you now, trembling with fear
I am in the midst of the beholder, he that can crash a boulder
with one finger. Create and initiate our purpose in life
death is a black pearl, a rebirth into the spiritual world
we see the afterlife to be a curse, but it is only to those that see you leaving in a Hurst
I am now free to be the one that helps the wounded souls
That are wandering and pondering the rules the one gave us
Why did we not apply our lives, when so many people strive throughout the universe
We need to lead those in need
To the pastures of wealth, power and health
As I didâ??t do the will of G-d correctly and respectively
I leave now to the gates of heaven, with a farewell goodbyeâ?¦

This was good but not my fortee. The mention of death and the afterlife, does intrest me. But not in verse.

Since you are new I will tell you this: When you write a poem and try and submit it to P&Q make sure you do it twice because in the long run your quotation marks and your apostrphes will become this "goodbyeâ?¦ so again do it twice.

This was a good poem. And needs some editing....
