Is It Time?

From the darkness inside my mind
I see a light shine
Maybe it's finally time
to leave my eternal night behind

Could I be happy again?
Can I believe my friends?
Should I let my pain go?
My happiness wouldn't be a show

I must let go of my past
if my joy is to last
not to forget
but to let my hate relent

maybe it is happiness I will find
maybe it's finally time
to leave my hate behind
