Dear God

Dear God,
Tonight i heard daddy and mommy fighting,
Their tears fell on the ground,
Daddy ran out the front door,
Cuz mommy didnt want to be around.

I dont think she\'s coming back,
Cuz she lives so far away
and Daddy will not tell me,
where he goes, and just leaves.

Both my parents left me,
Only one comes back to sleep.
But thats the only time he is here.
Not when i need him to be.

If you give my mommy back God,
I promise you tonight,
Ill be the best kid ever,
I wont even put up a fight.

Ill make her cards and cookies,
Ill clean my room real good,
& Daddy will be so proud of me,
To know i brought her back.

So God if you could hear me,
Only answer one prayer,
God it would be this one,
To let her come back here.
