Risking My Heart

I know that in the end
I will most probably be hurt.
But for you i will take that risk

I will wait a lifetime
I will cry a river
Because if i let you go I know my life would consist of endless thoughts of what could have become of us

So for now I'll wait and hope that one day you will come and find me
Just waiting for you with tear stained cheeks and a broken heart

You will be my savior and pick up the broken pieces and mend them back together with your love

And for that i would forget the tears i cried and the years i waited
Because you never broke your promise
You promised you would find me
You promised you would love me
And thats all i was waiting for
And you came...

    Omg I thanks for my comment, yeh it is a sad poem and it hurts me the most because i had to write it. =( I lyk this poem but the words and feelings could have been gathered a little more clearly..
