WoW! I rarely shut up and seldom left speachless, but the beauty of this poem, the power of the lines and imagery, the sense of awe created by it has left me silent and contemplating (I guess, looking at what I just wrote I wasn't too speachless). Words evade me to properly describle the wonder of this poem. Beautiful. |

Take out "describle" and insert "describe".....just washed my hands and can't do a thing with them....damn. |

Okay, I cheated this time. I read the comments already posted and found the perfect line to describe how this poem has affected me. So not only am I cheating but I'm gonna steal his lines because it mirrors my exact thoughts.... |

Melissa... This is one beautiful piece! Truly amazing work, I bow to you in awe of your work! |
This is really good-the first stanza is especially amazing!I love the images you've painted in my mind as I read this-there are so many fresh and vivid images I can't pick one to single out, I'm really impressed with the imagery!Excellent wording throughout , flows nicely (though 'From an all filled up soul' seems a bit awkward(but I wouldn't know how else to word it really)).And the emotion, the feelings this conjours up within- such a sense of love, a feeling of contentment, sensual and intimate, even a slightly spiritual touch, leaves one feeling closer to God. the last stanza is very powerful. This poem has a deepness to it that touches something inside me.This is simply a beautiful piece. |
A little choppy, it lost my interest by the middle of the poem, maybe i just dont understand it tho |
