Nature Beauty

by Gwen   Mar 3, 2006

Awake some morning at sunrise,
Rid yourself of each worry or care,
Everyday I live, I see
How great the world God made for me.

From tall, majestic cliff tops,
To soft, grassy banks
With rivers of living water
The stark, sandy deserts
Color our world
With their natural beauty.

The color hill are awesome
& they take my breath away.
The sky is of the purest blue
That makes the sun shine bright.

It hemmed it with the creatures small
That wakened from their sleep,
Swollen buds on bush & tree
Are bursting in the air,
Mother Nature seems most anxious
To call forth her blossoms fair.

The flowers stood so straight & tall,
Just looking toward the sky
Each flower seemed so special
To the people passing by.

I will that I could save this day
& the radiance that I view,
But I will hold in memory
Its gifts of gold & blue.
