Give me the courage
To love each tear
To banish the pain
And forget my fear

Give me the patience
To make another race
And draw the soul
To shade the face

Give me the honesty
To face this day
To trust in myself
Not to get in the way

Give me the truth
To see through the lies
To open my heart
And not my eyes
