The Girl

by Marlett   Mar 4, 2006

I am the girl who would take her girlfriend home and tell her mother it was her closest friend.
I am the girl who has the gay and lesbian friends but her family doesn't approve of them.
I am the girl who kissed her girlfriend in front of her friends, even when they made a weird face.
I am the girl who would get sent away, if her parents knew she was gay.
I am the girl who gets looked at differently, just because she likes the same sex.
I am the girl who cries herself to sleep, because she can't tell her love ones who she truly is.
I am the girl that gets called names while she walks in the street.
I am the girl who has many friends but only some really accept me for me.
I am the girl who would do anything to have her baby by her side.
I am the "lesbian".
