Brought To Rest..

by Trista Jorstad   Mar 4, 2006

She feels her breathe running short.
Her heart beats rapidly.
Her palms are sweating, making her hands slip off the railing.
She looks at the ground below her. Sees the people looking like ants.
She cries out. "Mother I'm sorry for never being there, when you wanted me to love and to share."
"Daddy I hate you for all you did to me, Screaming and cursing telling me I'm not free.
"Screw you world i wish to be dead. After all you've put me through i want to be shot in the head."
She screamed it out and she screamed it loud.
People from below looked up. She let her hands fly from the bar and took her final jump.
People screamed and some cried as they saw her crashing down. They watched her splatter all over the paved ground.
Her mother opened a letter that came the following day. "Dear Mom, I'm sorry. It just had to end this way."
Her mother threw it away and screamed and cried and shook. Her father looked around and just picked up a book.
He sat in his chair like nothing was wrong. While her mother was already half way gone.
Her mother screamed out."I'm sorry dear, I'm sorry for keeping you living in fear."
That day there was an accident and all that was left. A mother and daughter that was brought to rest...
