Her story of a suicide gone wrong

Hey this is kinda more of a story then a poem

August 18th 2005
She attempted her suicide,
She took her pills,
Played her song on repeat,
Placed her letter next to her bed,
And lay down,
Under the covers and shut her eyes

She felt a change in her body
Almost like being drunk
She felt distorted,
Slipping into a sleep, but never reaching,
Hours went past
Her father came home, opened her door
"hello baby, Don't forget to turn your music off"
She didn't reply

He shut her door as she continued to drift
An hour or so later her father came back and turned her music off
"Goodnight baby"

Around 2am she started to feel as sick as anything
Feeling drugged she struggled to the bathroom and threw up
Some tablets came out whole,
Not being able to be dissolved,
She pulled her self back into her bed,
This repeated every 5 minutes for the rest of the night until her father came in
"I'm couldn't get the day off, Call your mother to come get you and your sister can take care of you over there"

She crawled back to bed and finally got to sleep,
She woke to see her mother and sister looking over her,
"We have to go now because i have to get to work" her mother said
"come on Robbie, wheres your jacket?" her sister said after

Still being sick every so often she managed to get into the car and too her mothers
She got inside and into bed again as her sister finished getting ready to go out as she had planned to do, just without her now.

She went to sleep and was only woken at 5:30 because of a call from her father
"How are you feeling? Make sure you get some food into you"
She slept for the most of the weekend...

Her plan was to die,
To be cold and breathless but this time,
She never planned to live threw it...

"Do you have any idea what its like to battle through a suicide gone wrong all night on your own!?" she would shout in her head at no one, at anyone, at everyone

She had a hard thought
"I wont let myself live threw the next one"
