I care

I cry about it alone at night,
All the times she said she was alright.
And really the whole time I knew.
There was a lot that she was going through.
A lot more things she wanted to say.
But she just didn't feel like it was the right day.
She truly is my best friend.
She shouldn't feel like she needs to pretend.
She knows I'll always be here,
When she needs help conquering her fear.
I'd help her with anything.
Even if she says "it's really nothing."
I hope she knows I'll always be there.
And even if I don't say it, I really do care.
