One Wish

If I had only one wish,
You'd be the first on my mind.
For you to come and hold me,
To give us one more time.

If I had just one wish,
I wonder what it'd be of.
Perhaps and answer to my thoughts,
What kind of man walks away from love?

If I had a single wish,
It'd be me to just believe,
The day you left, the words you said,
We just weren't meant to be.

Give me just one wish,
For me to follow through.
I'd wish I could just stop the tears,
And be able to say, I'm over you.

    I like this poem and itz true ive been threw the same thing and it hurts alot i know but you know it actually nice to see that you wrote down what you have on your mind thats what i do

    Thats really good! Renenber theres a reason for everythin and even though at the time you dont wanna belive it and it makes you mad to hear it, but its true. If its ment to be itll happen if not then its not ment to be. Thats a really good poem
