Wings Called Hope

by Caty   Mar 4, 2006

Night, silent voice whispers
Inaudible words, whistling past
Lost soul's cry, desperate plea
Love betrays, shattered world
Drowning in the remains, a slave
Trust wasted, fall apart again
Hovering darkness, black abyss
Endless pit, reached the bottom
Pain attacks, sorrow corrupts
Unanswered hope, empty heart
Choking grasp of depression
Prayers of white angels come
Blind, lasting an eternity
Climbing, stumbling, searching
Doubt burrowed deep inside
Time conceals what grief reveals
Exclamation of ecstasy, tears of joy
Misery made beautiful
Soul saved, carried away
By indomitable wings called hope
