Christmas with a meaning

by IlliteracyKills   Mar 5, 2006

I wake up very early, every Christmas morn.,
To go under the tree, and have wrapping paper torn.
I love getting gifts from my father and mother,
I love seeing smile's from my sister and brother.
But ever since I was little, I was always taught,
No matter what gifts you get, Christmas cannot be bought.
I love getting presents, but is that all Christmas come to be?
Sit tight now, and I'll tell you just what it mean's to me.
C is for cold, on that first Christmas night.
H is for a heavenly star, shining so bright
R is for the road, they took to their tiny town
I is for the inn, where no rooms were found
S is for the savior born in a manger
T is for the tiny baby visited by strangers
M is for a miracle, God sent as a babe
A is for his amazing smile, in the manger where he lay'd
S is for the son of God, and the joy on earth he made
Happy birthday Jesus, and thank you for letting me see
Why Christmas is a holiday with a meaning to me

That was very beautiful! It's nice to see people think like that about Christmas and see more than presents - not that getting them isn't fun XD - you get my point =P
