X Natures Brilliance

by Sole   Mar 5, 2006

The rising of the sun in the still moonlit morn,
The singing of the larks in the beautiful dawn.
The heralding call of a brand new day
Sees natures brilliance, in pure display

The rippling tide of the everlasting sea
The wheeling birds, who fly so free
The dreamless fish,who swim evermore
Sees natures perfection, it's shapeless form

The setting of the sun in the evening peace
The final farmer, taking in his final fleece
The sun no longer shines out bright
As carfree day turns to everlasting night.

I loved the last line, a perfect way to end it. This was a great nature poem, so descriptive and beautiful. My only suggestion would to not start every line with "the", try putting something else in or whatever. Good job, keep writing, always and forever......

Mother Nature herself couldn't have done it any better, I love this part best:

"The rising of the sun in the still moonlit morn,
The singing of the larks in the beautiful dawn.
The heralding call of a brand new day
Sees natures brilliance, in pure display

The rippling tide of the everlasting sea
The wheeling birds, who fly so free
    The dreamless fish,who swim evermore
Sees natures perfection, it's shapeless form

The setting of the sun in the evening peace
The final farmer, taking in his final fleece
The sun no longer shines out bright
As carfree day turns to everlasting night."

    Yes. All of it.

Oh wow is all I can say. One of the best nature poems I've read on the site so far. My favorite lines were:

    The dreamless fish,who swim evermore

As carfree day turns to everlasting night.
