Stricken

I cant control these feelings
Like I cant control the past
I can't control the happiness
That just refuses to last

I can't control my weight
Like I cant control my life
I can't control how well I sleep
In the dark nightmare filled nights

I cant control my panic
Like I cant control anxiety
I cant control my view on life
Is this the only path for me?

So control is what I'm lacking
It's bout time I took it back
Restricting may seem strange to you
But it's just another mask

These scars are just too deep
It just wasn't meant to be
If you see this as a weakness
Then you really just don't know me

I tried I failed. What a shocker.
