Beautiful Day

by Gwen   Mar 5, 2006

Time becomes more precious
As seasons come & go
I saw beauty on every turn.

There's excitement in the air
With mountains reaching toward the sky.
To brighten up the day
Warm is the kiss of sunshine,
Beckoning flowers so fair.

The trees sway softly in the breeze.
Shades of emerald can be seen
Upon the verdant trees,
On these warm, sunny days.
Yellows, pinks, & verdant greens
Are seen throughout the land

I'll gather up bright daffodils
& bring sweet Spring indoors.
While strolling in life's garden,
How welcome this beautiful sight.
The sunset's like a fire in the sky
Orange, gold, & amber-hued
The glow of day is fading
& soon will be past.

Even the stars in the heavens glow
With a brilliant, dazzling light.
I'll remember well the beauty & joy
& relive them in my thoughts.
So much is mine throughout each day,
Each season of the year,
In Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall
I see, I touch, I hear.
