Daddy's little hunting dream

by Amanda Campbell   Mar 5, 2006

Most Girls go shopping
But not me
Most girl spend money on purses
But not me
Most girls are pageant queens
But not me
Most girls are like a mothers dream
But not me
I am the girl I want to be
I am Daddys little girl
I would wait for him to come back
Staring out the windows
I would meet him at the door
Asking if he saw anything
I was the only girl
In the hunting course
I was proud when I was handed my license
And stepping out in the
Woods for the first time
I felt like this was for
Me to be my daddys little girl
No sons around for him to teach
I became my dads son
Something I would want to be
But I am his little girl too
He taught me how to shoot
How to hunt
He taught me
What his dad had taught him
I loved to be the girl
To hunt in the family
Being a girly girl
Just isnt me
I like to play with the boys
And talk about sports
I want to be my
Daddys little hunting dream!
