My Gram

by Amanda Campbell   Mar 5, 2006

My Gram sat in the hospital without me there.
My Gram lay there dying, but she always knew that I cared.
My Gram has Cancer and they said I have to let go.
My Gram loves me, but I love her more than she may never know.
My Gram has been always by my side.
My Gram is the best women I would ever know.
My Gram knew I would be sad when it was time for her to go.
My Gram has grandchildren that love her so.
My Gram will be remembered.
My Gram was sitting there wondering, WHY ME and How.
My Gram has always been my very best friend.
My Gram knew I would be with her until the very end.
My Gram would go to Heaven and rid all of her pain.
My Gram would have God with her to show all that is gained.
My Gram was fighting her disease and taking it day by day.
My Gram knew that God would show her the way.
My Gram would not let go until her time here is done.
My Gram will have a whole new life right above the sun.
My Gram would have to say good-bye to her Granddaughter.
My Gram closed her eyes and said good-bye to the world.
My Gram will always have a special place in my heart.
My Gram's bedside is where I had to say good-bye.
My Gram's frown was hidden by a smile.
My Gram knew she'd never see me walk down the aisle.
I love you, gram. It's your granddaughter.
I will always know that you will be near.
I'll miss you, gram, with all of my heart.
I knew the day is coming when we will have to part.
Don't worry, gram. I will be fine and our family too.
I will get better at being behaved all because of you.
I love you, gram and I think of you every day.
