Change

He has shown me the light,
when darkness was all I saw.
He showed me mercy
when I deserved death.
He has restored me fully.

I have learned to love,
not show hatred toward others.
I have learned to deal,
with the differences in a person.
I have a new perspective in life.

I have learned how to look pas the outside,
and look deep inside the heart.
I have learned to accept
without hesitation.
I look at life differently.

I will not have revenge,
for vengeance is the Lords.
I will proclaim my love for God,
with all the joy in my heart.
I will reach out with love in this life.

I will reach out to the sick and dying,
for they need to see the truth.
I will help the homeless and battered,
so they will see kindness and love.
I will honor God with all my heart, my soul and my mind.
