He Didn't Come Back

He left.
Why did he leave?
Was I not good enough?
Didn't he love me enough to stay?
No, he didn't.
No one cares.
not even him
he is nothing
he left, he's gone
I never got to know him
he just..left
not realizing the damage,
the hurt he caused.
Me waiting, wondering
if he would love me enough
to come back
the point is he didn't
he doesn't love me at all
he will never come back
I don't even pray anymore
to my God,
asking for a visit,
a phone call,
a letter.
anything to know
that i am acknowledged,
love, cared about by him
This man is the man
that I used to call dad.
but now he is nothing to me.
He's gone.
But the hurt, the pain
