Throughout all these years
with all the hospital visits and
scary phone calls,
I never thought,
this was the final event.
You were such a strong person,
And for that i look
to your strength to carry
myself through your passing
I'll never forget your courageous soul
and the impact you have given
to not only myself but others
who loved you
I thank you for never giving up on me
No matter what i got myself into,
Every stumble and every fall,
you were there to pick me up
and till this day, everything i do
I'll do it because you wanted me to
I now realize,
all your teaches and preaches
were only for the best!
Its ashame it took all this
for me to wake up to reality
You took me as a person
not as someone who gets in trouble
You taught me ones perfect
so donut be so quick to judge
I cant help it but its my selfishness
that wants you here
You were dying inside
and no one knew it but you!
I just we all did too!
I really miss you
it wont be the same without you
Why you had to go so far away
is beyond me!
You always told me don't worry
you would be OK
But it isn't!
Why couldn't i have come
when He came to get you?
When you died,
i bagged the Lord to take me
because no one could give me
what you gave me
We all have a purpose in life
and to see you again,
it all be worth it!
I wish i could stop time,
I wish i could rewind every
second of my life
to see you smile,
to hear your laugh,
to hug you one last time!
What hurts the most
is letting you go
I know and should be happy
your no longer in pain
but that don't mean it doesn't hurt!
They say watch what you ask for
because you might receive.
but if you ask me tomorrow
I'd say the same thing!
I'd quickly give my freedom
to be held in your arms once more
Even though your body
is no longer here
your soul will forever live within us all!
But, we all know your in God's hands
and has taken your pain
So with that said,
our tears settle of enjoyment
not sadness!
