Alone

by Ash Kat08   Mar 6, 2006

Being alone is being afraid
This is being scared in so many ways,
No where to run to
No where to hide
From the things that are tearing you up deep inside

The only one that can help you is your self
But you're drowning in your own helpless well
Of emotional sickness hidden beneath the sheets of existence
Taking every breath of every word you speak.

No one can hide behind what is and what once would be
All we have to think about now is what could be
The anger that tears you up inside
Is the same anger everyone is trying to hide.

Running and never finding a way out
This is the game called life
That we can't live without.

We're all alone
Everyone on their own
Everyone hiding what once was
And can never be.
