My nightmare

He called me one night
his voice so full of fright
he said he couldn't take it anymore
i felt his pain at my core

he said he didn't want to live
and that he hoped that I'd forgive
him for what he was going to do
thats when i knew

this call was to say goodbye
i asked him why
he said he knew my secret
he never thought i would do it

i told him i was weak
he said not to speak
and then he asked me to recall
when i said i would never fall

he saw me do a line
i felt a cold go up my spine
then he said he loved me more than I'll ever know
and that now he had to go

(this was a nightmare i had. it seemed so real. i really saw my friend pull the trigger because of my secrets. when i woke up i couldn't stop crying.)
