Wow... Powerful and emotional. Nicely done. If I may suggest, I'd break up the last line "about the way I wish it was me, not you, to die" to add more punch / impact to the poem.

I liked it, nice little rhyme, i liked how it was absent in the last stanza, i think that gives it more effect. good job.
