Crimsom Droplets

by EMOtion1987   Mar 7, 2006

I'll take a pretty black rose to my grave
I'll let its thorns make a home in my flesh
Digging deeper into my open wounds
And Crimson droplets slowly ooze out

My eyes soon match this pretty black rose
The thorns making their home there as well
Stealing my visions and turning them black
And Crimson droplets slowly escape

My lips once red, once full of passion
They now turn black with a whisper of malice
Staying so motionless
And crimson droplets slowly fall to the ground.

Cheeks that once were plush and full of bliss
Now hold a whiteness and impurity
Never again to show there true colors
And Crimson droplets slowly roll down

These ears which once captured sweet voices and love
Now hear the demons deep below
Stealing my mind and claiming it there own
And Crimson droplets slowly fade away

This pretty black rose has now shriveled up
Taken the place of my shattered, broken heart
There will be no more love or affection
As these Crimson droplets slowly saturate into the ground
