A Note From Beyond

A chair is sitting in the middle of the floor
The lights are all off inside of the house
A bottle of pills is spilled amongst her floor below
An empty bottle of vodka lays on her pillow.
A rope hangs from the ceiling above
A noose wrapped tightly around her neck
She hangs from the rope,
Face as white as snow, lips as blue as the dark ocean water
Her body hangs limply in the midst of the air
Tears encrusted to her pale cheeks
Blood dripping from her head, hitting the ground
A gun lays beneath her feet, fully loaded
A note lays on the chair beneath her
Lightly painted with salty crimson tears.
And when they found her, and they found the note
They left her hanging there, sat down on the chair and read:
"A bullet for the pain,
A bottle of pills for the agony
A canteen of alcohol for the memories
A gun for the suffering
A rope for the finale."
The cops look at each other, bewildered expressions upon their faces
Days of investigation until the family is called
The funeral date is set, they mourn in Black
Silent tears stream down their empty gazes
The coffin is laid, below a mound of dirt
A note from beyond is placed on top of her inert corpse
And on the tomb stone is read:
1989-2006
