Wash away my troubles,
Wash away my pain,
While walking in the rain.
So many of my problems
Follow wherever I roam.

Life's road is straight & narrow
With mountains we must climb,
& the only way to get there
Is one step at a time.

So let the rain revive my soul.
The problems may remain,
