When You Speak of Her...

by Free Spirit   Mar 7, 2006

I can no longer stand it!
when you speak of her....

And speak of holding her,
in those arms where you
held me...

You do this to make my
heart bleed, and for my eyes
to tear in such range.

So long it's been since
I walk with this chain
around my legs...

My cries are kept low
as my feelings for you
constantly grow.

The pain inside, the weary look
on my face all kept behind a veil
and I tell myself.. this can't
be real.

...and then you turn to
me for a friend,
talking to me, with ur sweet
words...
re-newing my heart despite
the existing wounds... and
then speak of her...
my world crashes... my
vision starts to blur...
my heart cracks and bleed....
over... and over... again....

Shall we ever be more than friends?
I may never know, till you speak
of her...

but I dream of you, and scream
of you, think of you and tear
cause of you.

Unlucky me... just a friend as I am
hear you speak of her... dream
of her, scream of her, think of her...
tear for her...

I'm dying inside, as you speak
of her, but why am I taking
all of this? Because I love you...
And never want to lose
you.

Perhaps someday if I'm not there,
maybe you'll think, she was there
all along... as all I ever did was spoke of her... when she could've
been the one...
and now she's gone...

*I dunno what I wrote, next time
it'll be better, but thanks for reading!, only that it's hard to put your feelings
in words, when so much happens at once.*

I know how you feel. you write and write then once you read it you say to yourself "what was i thinking?"
but i actually think this is good. i can tell you put your heart into writing it...
    very nice.
