Memories Captured

Night turning to light,
A world captured tonight,
Memories of people we met,
And of human we have yet to meet.

My life is nothing but a picture screen,
Seeing my childhood all the way to this very day,
Photographs of my first step,
And that of many others.

To where I stay still,
I see her smiling face,
People so far away,
Gathering together for a picture.

With the flashing and clicking’s,
Tears and smiles captured,
Here is her first birthday,
I cannot believe she’s grown so old.

Family, friends and many more,
Gathered together in this picture before me,
United under a frame,
This family will never cease to exist.

Even those who left us,
And those who died,
Shall always rest with us,
In these captured memories.
