Do you ever wish?

by Angie   Mar 7, 2006

Do you ever wish one day you won't have to go home?
Do you ever wish your feet wouldn't stop going in front of your door but just keep walking?

Do you ever wish your feet would take far far away, and maybe stop in front of house, a nice one, with flowers and big windows lighting up the inside with the sun?

Do you ever wish you'd come upon this house with steps you'd run up two by two, to a family with open arms, as if they've been waiting there just for you? You'd fall into their arms and feel whole, because this family was nothing like your old family who didn't understand you.

Do you ever wish your new family would lead you upstairs to your new room? You'd stand there in front of you bed and just take it all in. Then you'd leap forward, as if your whole body had been freed. And you'd land softly into your bed, your own bed. And drifting of to sleep all starry eyed, you'd dream peacefully because you wouldn't have to worry about who liked you, or who didn't like you, or what they said because you didn't belong there anyways. you didn't belong in that bed, in that house with the steps and the big flowers. But for now, it doesn't matter. You just dream about how it would be to belong to that house and that family.
