WHAT IF

by Sueann Smith   Mar 8, 2006

As the day goes bye I sit and cry.Wondering how things end up the way they do.Wondering if forever was meant for me and you.
Visions keep running threw my head. What would your life be like if I were dead.
Would you sit and cry and watch the days go by?Or would you forget about me and let everything go back to the way it use to be?I sit and think on what would be a quick and easy death. But nothing comes to mind.So I start looking around to see what I can find.
On the table I have it all laid out.Maybe this is the best choice I\'ve made in life. Now you don\'t have to worry about making me your wife.
A gun to my head.White sheet covering me on what is now dead.
Blood on the floor.Cops standing at the door.Gun in a bag.Pill bottles covered with a rag.
Which took my life its plain to see. That forever was never meant to be.

I really liked this one. It would be easier to read if you edited for the end of the lines. A couple of times I had to go back to put the breaks in to make the flow. But overall, nice job.
