A Walk To Remember

Two people met
one day at school
one was a prep
and one was a fool

he asked for help on the school play
she told him not to fall in love with her
she knew the love would be a delay
but she desperately needed a cure

for what he didn't know
when he asked her on a date
that she wasn't going to be a no-show
or going to be late

just because she had leukemia
she wasn't going to stop living her life
instead she said ill be seeing ya
on our date tonight

Landon asked his dad for help
and he got her at home meds
but that didn't improve her health
and soon Landon found her passed away in her bed.
