Death

by Moonbeam   Mar 8, 2006

Tonight a stillborn dies inside
As the doctors said that she died
They take her and put a sheet
Trying to listen to a heart beat

They said my child has died
As I sat there and just cried
I said why did she have to die
They shook their heads and didn't know why

Oh my precious one you didn't have a chance to live
I would give anything and my life I would give

They cover you with sheet
As they don't hear your heart beat
I break down in tears but no one hears my cry
Oh my precious baby why did you have to die

I hold onto you under the sheet as they take you away
They said when they bury you it will be the next day

Sleep my angel
