Waking up each morning
goin to bed each night
Ive began to realize every things gonna be alright
i fear not the madman down the hall
hes not so scary after all
and so to you i wanted to say
thank you Nat
for you've helped me in so many ways
telling someone my story is not an easy thing to tell
most people think I'm lying and start to yell
But not you with patience and kindness you showed me a different way
and I'm living it day by day
Fun and laughter follow me now
death and despair hover somewhere else
each morning i wake life seems sweeter coz your gonna be there
food tastes better coz your there for me to share
A friend was what i begged god for someone to talk to and nothing more
He answered my prayers and more
he gave me what i was looking for
the other half to my soul
who could want more?
You understand me...not an easy task
we get each other
with out the pretense of masks
so in you i have found someone completely true
