A Dream

Falling into my deep sleep
Dark and obscure, it was blank
Chills of the air slowly creep
Drown into nowhere, I sank

Sudden images slowly defined
Portraits of my family, friends and loved ones
People that walked in my life, now gone
Past relationships that made me blind

Out of nowhere, came a scene
My girlfriend, my love I've seen
Showing a heartless and bitter smile
The one I've never seen on the girl I admire

Tears fell in her gloomy eyes asking forgiveness
She was sorry for she found another guy
Holding her hand was the guy I know less
The guy who stole my girlfriend, my love and my life

I cried on my knees
I couldn't find exact words to say
I was dumbfounded, I opt not to stay
Seeing them together, breaks my heart even more

Questions I never ask and never will I ask
Why did she leave me? Did I never love back?
I'm desperate, I don't know what to do
I need her back, please give her back!

Then i heard a clock as it ring
Six o' clock as the pendulum swing
I'm sweating and I'm breathing rapidly
It was a dream - a nightmare, as I've realized slowly

Seeing her sleeping beside me, made me at peace
I hugged her tight, feeling her near me
She smiled, hugged me and told me I was only dreaming
Then she gently whisper "I love you! and I'm not leaving"
