I held you close,
As I hugged and kissed you Good-bye,
I held back my tears,
I was determined not to cry.
You said that you loved me,
And I wanted to believe it was true,
But you lied to much before,
So i had to end it,
And say were through
I didn't want to hurt you,
The way you hurt me,
When you told me you loved me,
But it was never true and that i could see.
I'm sorry I had to do it this way,
But its the only way I could,
To keep myself from going insane,
And stop from feeling anymore pain.
I wanted to stay,
And work it out,
But I knew it wouldn't work,
Its better this way,
Than causing anymore hurt.
I will always love you,
Forever you will be in my heart,
But this is the way it has to be,
Forever we will always be apart.

As i cry,
