She, Me, Us..

by Poppy   Mar 8, 2006

A river of blond hair,
Flooded off her pillow,
As night terrors,
Clung to her consciousness.

Dark thoughts crowd her mind,
Hushed voices claw at her soul,
Thin scars mark her skin,
And her pale body is wrapped in black.

Startling grey eyes,
Watch you're ever move,
Waiting to be wanted,
Wanting to be loved.

Reach out and hold me,
Warm the cold me,
Love the lost me,
Somebody please want meâ?¦

A ripple of sadness,
Bleeds out of her mind,
Into the real world,
Of death and desolation.

She is like us,
So very like us all..
Beauty wrapped in sadness,
Uniqueness wrapped in solitary.

She cannot see her beauty,
Does not think her self special,
Sees fat, where none is,
Like us all, I guess.

She is in us all.

Love me, when you find me.
Hold me, when you are near me,
Show me, who I am,
Show me warmth and the love I so long for..
