Distance... (Collab with Luke)

Looking out my window
I gaze upon the frosty snow
Almost over the frozen pane
As flakes begin to fall again

Darkness here..
Sweeps the land..
The nights chill..
Makes hairs stand..

Ravens crow, with ruby eyes
A haunting murderours cry
Branches flail with lethal intent
The sweetest night to die

Night will fade..
Reveal the sun..
As the we realise..
The days just begun..

A gentle breeze caresses the sky
And dances amidst the trees
A butterfly with jaded wings
Lands gently on its knees

Gentle whispers say goodnight..
As the wind sweeps past..
Sadness soon takes over..
How long will this night last?
