Seems like i've been down this road before
This heartache isn't foreign to me
Sometimes it's like you've put me here
Where i don't need to be
I sit back and watch the replay
Of the life i used to live
And all the love that was returned
When that was all i could give
Time stood still when we were close
And you kissed my face
It was like you were my angel
My sweet saving grace
Things changed between us
For time never stays the same
The love leaves the happy heart
And sadness is yet to gain
Eventually time got to you
And changed the love in your heart
And with that everything stable
Started fallin apart
I've moved on and so have you
And kept it as a memory too
I cried day in and day out
I laughed a little too
But i never laughed so hard
As to when i was with you
So i'll just keep on moving
As time passes on
Until the day comes
That this memory is gone
