Inside me lies a little girl
with a broken heart
who thinks her world was torn apart
she feels she has nothing left to gain
and everything to fear
at night she cries
just one to many tears
she doesnt really understand
everything thats going on
but all she really does understand is why the love of her life is gone
She never knew how easily
things could just slip away
and the more she tried to forget about him
made it hurt more and more each and everyday
She cant move on
no matter how hard she tries
every night she thinks about him
her heart screams and cries
Its hard to open my eyes and write this poem knowing that the little girl was me
I wish I could close my eyes
and never ever again see what I see!
